Nora Fatehi Fires Back At Drug Probe Allegations: ‘My Name Is An Easy Target’

Bollywood star Nora Fatehi has strongly denied any involvement in the recent drug racket linked to underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim, calling the reports “baseless” and saying her name is being misused for sensationalism. The Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell recently named several celebrities in connection with an alleged syndicate, and Nora was among those mentioned, but she has fired back with a public statement defending her integrity.

In her Instagram Stories, Nora clarified her side: “FYI, I DON’T go to Parties … I’m constantly on flights … I’m a workaholic, I don’t have a personal life … I don’t associate myself with people like that.” She added that on her rare off days, she prefers quiet moments — either relaxing at a Dubai beach or catching up with high school friends.

Her frustration is clear. She said her name keeps being dragged into controversies repeatedly, often without any solid proof: “It seems like my name is an easy target! … It happened once before, you guys tried to destroy me with LIES and it didn’t work … Please refrain from using my name and image … on situations that have absolutely NOTHING to do with me!” She also issued a stern warning to the media, hinting that there would be serious consequences if her name continues to be used in false narratives.

Her denial comes amid serious allegations. According to reports, Mumbai’s ANC is investigating a drug syndicate allegedly run by Salim Dola, purportedly linked to Dawood Ibrahim. The remand papers reportedly claim that the accused organised international parties where drugs such as mephedrone, also known as “M-Cat,” were used.

Nora didn’t hold back her criticism of how her name was dragged into the case. She called the headlines a form of “clickbait” and said the scandal isn’t just hurtful, it’s dangerous.

This isn’t the first time she’s spoken out against being unfairly linked to controversies. She said that similar smear tactics have been used in the past, but she plans to draw a firm line now: “I won’t allow it to happen this time.”

For now, Fatehi is making it clear that she intends to fight back, legally, if she must. Her statement is not just a defense; it’s a demand for respect and accountability.
