Recently, television actor Parth Samthaan alerted fans after discovering that someone was misusing his identity on Snapchat to scam women.

A fraudster created a fake Snapchat account posing as Parth Samthaan. As fans began following the account believing it to be genuine, the impersonator allegedly started soliciting explicit photos from women through video calls. Upon learning about the scam, Parth acted quickly. He shared a screenshot of the fake account on his Instagram Story and warned his followers.

He wrote, “This man is using my identity to solicit inappropriate snaps from girls via video calls. Please report this Snapchat account and block it immediately.” The actor’s swift action helped raise awareness and prevent further exploitation. Parth isn’t the only celebrity to face such identity misuse. Actress Ruhi Singh, known for her appearances in Calendar Girls and Masti 4, also became a victim of a similar scam.

A fake WhatsApp account was created using her name, and obscene, double-meaning messages were circulated. When Ruhi came across the fraudulent chat, she immediately clarified on social media that it was not her. She went a step further by filing a police complaint and sharing the fraudulent WhatsApp number publicly, urging fans to block and report it.

Actress Ayesha Khan, who appeared in Dhurandhar, also recently warned her followers about a fake WhatsApp profile created in her name. The impersonator used her photograph and identity to contact people, pretending to be her. Ayesha shared a screenshot of the fake account and urged fans to stay cautious and avoid engaging with such profiles.
