Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress Rubina Dilaik confirmed last month that she’d be getting married to her boyfriend Abhinav Shukla. Rubina apparently was quoted saying “Yes we are taking our relationship forward to a new phase a phase where we will celebrate each other’s imperfection and create memories for a lifetime”.
And now it’s time for the fans of Rubina Dilaik to rejoice as the actress recently got engaged. The actress took to her Instagram and shared a heartwarming picture. In the picture, she can be seen flaunting her ring in style.
Captioning the pic, she wrote, “And I Said “YES”. Abhinav also shared the same picture and wrote, “Thank You!”
Take a look at her pic and the engagement ring:
According to an earlier report by Indian Express, Rubina and Abhinav had confirmed that their wedding would take place on June 21, 2018. It was also mentioned that their wedding would take place in Shimla which is Rubina’s hometown. Abhinav is from Ludhiana so pre-wedding rituals are expected to be held in Ludhiana.
The report suggested, “Abhinav and Rubina are nature lovers and wanted to get married amid a similar setting. With most of Rubina’s relatives in Shimla, and the place offering such locales, the two zeroed upon the town for their big day. Preparations have begun in full swing and there’s already a sense of happiness around their families and friends”.
Their wedding is expected to have a mixture of Punjabi and Himachali rituals.
Rubina apparently told Indian Express, “We both wanted it to be an outdoor affair. Abhinav, being an adventure junkie, wished to exchange vows amidst the mountains, in the lap of nature. I, too, wanted a day wedding with lots of natural light and greenery around”.
She also said, “I am not someone who will have jitters. The idea is to grow old together and know each other better, gradually. I am looking forward to exploring new things with him by my side. I believe that one shouldn’t know everything about his/her partner at one go. Slow discovery of each other lends newness to the relationship and keeps the spark alive”.
It is said that the couple wants to keep the wedding a low-key affair with the presence of close family and friends only.
It is reported, “Grandeur on the level of involvement of people we would not be able to say that, but grandeur on the level of celebration, where we want to celebrate each other’s presence and the moment when we unite together in the traditional Indian way, that’s going to be grand”.
When asked about the wedding preparations, this is what Rubina said, “We are personally involved in every aspect of it like planning, costumes, how our mandap will look like, how will everybody dress up. She is getting into the details of all this. She is painstakingly doing so much of detail”.
Well now that the lovely couple has exchanged the rings, we can’t wait for their wedding!
We wish them best wishes and good luck for their future.
