His remarks have added a fresh layer to the ongoing debate around the movie’s reception, alleged propaganda, and industry dynamics. Known for his outspoken nature, Prakash Raj recently shared a video from his home on X, where the classic song “Abhi Na Jao Chhodkar” plays in the background.

Alongside the clip, he wrote, “I am far away from ‘Dhurandhar’… Are you too? #justasking.” The post quickly went viral, with many interpreting it as a subtle critique of the film and those endorsing it. The actor didn’t stop there. He retweeted a post highlighting how several South Indian superstars, including Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda, Jr. NTR, and Mahesh Babu have praised Dhurandhar 2.

Reacting to this, Prakash Raj wrote, “The burden of responsibility has now begun to reach the South as well.” His statement has been widely interpreted as a sarcastic remark, suggesting that such praise might not be entirely organic.
