In his post, Dhruv Rathee attacked director Aditya Dhar for what he described as extreme blood, violence, and atrocities showcased in the Dhurandhar trailer. Rathee accused the makers of promoting harmful content, saying, they had crossed all limits of vulgarity. His comparisons and criticism instantly triggered controversy across social media platforms. Ranvir Shorey did not take Dhruv Rathee’s accusations lightly. He responded sharply on X, and his posts are now going viral.

In one of his tweets, Shorey wrote, “Dude, you’re wrong most of the time, but I love that you’ve turned it into a career.” In another explosive tweet, Shorey further added, “If he hadn’t tried to harm the film and the filmmaker, I wouldn’t have gotten involved. Enough of his nonsense. He’s making money sitting in Europe at the expense of Indians and their interests. I pity the Indians who are following this idiot.” Shorey’s strong reaction has received support from many in the industry who believe Rathee’s comparison to ISIS was extreme and insensitive.
