Television actress Ridhima Pandit has taken legal action against digital creator Vanshanj after alleging severe online harassment and death threats from his supporters. The controversy erupted following their heated argument on the reality show The 50, which streams on Colors TV and JioHotstar. The actress has now approached the cyber police with the help of her legal team, demanding strict action against those responsible for trolling, threatening messages, and online bullying.

According to reports, Ridhima Pandit claims that several supporters of Vanshaj have sent her death threats and abusive messages on social media. She also alleged that the creator’s fanbase has been continuously trolling her online, creating a hostile digital environment. Taking the matter seriously, the actress decided to pursue legal action. In a conversation with one of the media houses, Ridhima confirmed that the legal process has officially begun.

Her lawyer reportedly issued a legal notice dated March 8, 2026, addressed to Vanshaj, stating that the notice was sent on behalf of their client Ridhima Pandit regarding the alleged harassment. The conflict reportedly started during their participation in the reality show The 50. During the show, a heated argument broke out between Ridhima Pandit and Vanshaj, which quickly turned controversial.
Vanshaj’s Status
The tension escalated when Vanshaj was eliminated on the very first day of the show, but his return later sparked fresh debates among contestants and viewers. During the show, Vanshaj also made headlines for calling actor Karan Patel old, which added to the controversy. In a promotional clip, he was seen arguing intensely with Ridhima Pandit, after which the actress described his behavior as rude.

You have no idea the consequences of this decision.” He also shared a screenshot of the legal notice on his Instagram story.
