Raina revealed that he told Big B his grandmother was a huge fan of his, despite the fact that she had passed away years ago. According to him, it wasn’t malice but strategy. He explained that on Indian television, especially a show like KBC, one often feels the need to fit into a certain image. Known for his edgy and unfiltered humor, Samay admitted he deliberately toned himself down to appear more wholesome and versatile.

True to his comic style, Samay also revealed a bold joke he had thought of saying to Amitabh Bachchan, but wisely held back. The joke referenced Bachchan’s polio campaigns and his son Abhishek Bachchan, something Samay admitted would have been wildly inappropriate for the setting. He humorously described how things could have spiraled if he had actually said it, imagining a dramatic reaction from the Bachchan family, including Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Samay didn’t just stop at roasting others, he turned the lens on himself too. He joked that after his controversial image surfaced on news channels, Amitabh Bachchan might have regretted ever liking him. Referencing the cult classic Sooryavansham, Samay painted an exaggerated picture of shock and disbelief, blending satire with self-deprecating humor.
