Leaving behind the glamour of showbiz, he returned to his roots in Bihar and began experimenting with sustainable agriculture. His mission was clear: promote healthy living and support farm-to-table practices. However, the transition was far from smooth. In his attempt to scale the business, Rajesh faced significant financial challenges. His farming venture reportedly led to losses exceeding ₹2 crore, pushing him into a serious debt crisis. In an earlier interview with one of the media houses, he revealed that he had leased 20 acres of land in Palghar in 2019.

Unfortunately, a devastating flood destroyed over 15,000 saplings, dealing a major blow to his efforts. Things worsened as loan EMIs began bouncing and recovery agents started visiting his home. Eventually, Rajesh had to shut down the farm and step back from the venture. In a surprising twist, Rajesh recently shared that his sisters, who had been living in the US and Finland for over 25 years, decided to leave their established careers abroad and join him in India.

Speaking to a media house, he recounted how his elder sister quit her job and returned to India around his 50th birthday. Their decision reflects a shared belief in his vision, even after the setbacks. However, adapting to rural life hasn’t been easy. Rajesh mentioned challenges like poor internet connectivity in the village, revealing that they are still dependent on 2G networks, with no immediate hope for 5G services.
