In a recent interview with one of the media houses, dancer Rubina Khan, who had closely worked with Saroj Khan, shared several behind-the-scenes stories involving the late choreographer and Bollywood stars. During the conversation, Rubina recalled an alleged incident that took place while Karishma Kapoor was shooting a song choreographed by Saroj Khan. According to her, the song involved a sequence where performers had to run and stop at a designated point during filming.

Rubina claimed that an accident occurred during the sequence, which reportedly upset Karishma. She alleged that the actress became angry and lashed out at one of the team members involved in the shoot. Recalling the moment, Rubina said, “Karishma became absolutely furious. She began shouting and hurling abuses at her. She called her an idiot.” According to Rubina, Saroj Khan strongly objected to the actress’ behavior because she was deeply protective of her dance team and assistants.

Rubina further shared, “Saroj-ji immediately intervened and told Karishma that she could not behave in such a manner. The boy hadn’t done it on purpose, and he had even apologized.” Although neither Karishma Kapoor nor Saroj Khan publicly addressed the alleged disagreement in later years, the incident reportedly affected their professional relationship significantly.
