Shilpa Shetty left her phone unattended for a while; Anurag Basu did this SHOCKING thing!

Shilpa Shetty and Barfi director Anurag Basu are judges on dance reality show Super Dance 2. And as they say, when Anurag Basu is on sets, beware! One can easily fall prey to his hilarious pranks. And this time the victim was none other than the actress Shilpa Shetty.

As per a report of a daily report, Anurag got a chance to take away Shilpa’s phone and plaayed an OMG prank with her. “During the break when Anurag got the opportunity to take away Shilpa’s phone, he texted her sister Shamita Shetty from her phone that she is pregnant. Shilpa started getting a number of calls from her sister and congratulatory texts on the news,” a source told the national daily.
Shilpa who was totally confused with what was happening, took a lot of time to convince her sister that she wasn’t pregnant. It was only later that she realised that Anurag was the culprit. She however took it on a lighter not and laughed over it. ““She, however, laughed it off, as she is used to her Metro director’s pranks,” the source informed.

Well, this is not the first time Basu has teased Shilpa with a prank. Once he removed batteries from Shilpa’s mic without her knowledge. The production team diagnosed the issue and that is when Shilpa got to know Anurag Basu’s mischievousness. “Once he had removed the batteries from Shilpa’s mic without her knowledge and during the shoot, her voice couldn’t be heard. The shoot had to be stalled to get it fixed again,” the source had told.
Recently, Shilpa Shetty made headlines for her views on children reality shows. While she herself makes money by judging a kids reality show, her views are contradictory when it comes to her own son Vivaan. “When a child is given the spotlight too soon, he/she grows up with the perception of being privileged. I don’t want Viaan to feel that way try to inculcate values I grew up with because I don’t want him (son Vivaan) to grow up with a misguided sense of entitlement.”

Earlier, Piku director Shoojit Sircar had raised some serious concerns and appealed to Tv authorities to call for a ban on all the reality TV shows that involve children. That’s a different fact that his concern and appeals went unheard!
Coming back to Anurag Basu, he is so much fun to be with on sets!
