When the trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ was released, the actress got immense popularity and love from the Fans. The movie is based on the Emergency implemented by Indira Gandhi in the year 1975-1977. Kangana will play the role of the most influential and first lady prime minister of India’s history ‘Indira Gandhi.’ However, this political drama gets into trouble as the Congress party shows their objection to disgrace Mrs Gandhi via movie.

The movie Emergency is directed by Kangana Ranaut. After Anupam Kher, now the film has another versatile actor Shreyas Talpade. While announcing the contribution of Atal Ji as Shreyas Talpade in Emergency Kangana wrote, “Presenting @shreyastalpade27 as Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee in #Emergency, a true nationalist whose love and pride for the nation was unparalleled and who was a young upcoming leader during the time of Emergency….”

On looping Shreyas Talpade, Kangana Ranaut said, “Shreyas plays Atal Bihari Vajpayee considered as the young and upcoming leader when Mrs Gandhi became the Prime Minister for the first time. He was also known as one of the heroes of the Emergency. We are fortunate to have him on board as he is a versatile actor. I feel that his performance in the role of Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be one of the most memorable experiences for him. We are lucky to have got a powerful performer like him to play this important role.”
