Sonam Kapoor May Abandon Indian Citizenship!

Actress Sonam Kapoor has been away from the limelight of reel life for far too long. After her marriage to her husband Anand Ahuja, the actress has been sighted very few times. While many assumed that the actress was preparing for new scripts, we were all wrong.

Sonam Kapoor who has been residing in the UK with her husband has other plans moving forward. While we wait to see her on the big screen, the actress has been silently prepping for a test. Catching up with her on her recent move and covid -19 scare, Vogue got out some interesting details.

She says, ” I have been preparing for a week” when asked if she will be taking the UK test for citizenship. The test is called Life in the United Kingdom. The test is normally administered online and is a computer-based test. Test givers consist of those who are looking to remain in the country on “indefinite leave” or to gain naturalization. There will be a total of 24 questions that will check the candidate’s knowledge of nearly 3000 facts of the country.

While we go too hard on the actress for her choice to take the test, Sonam shares her love for India as well. She says, “I miss Bombay—the food, my family, my friends, the traffic, the movie industry. I love living here, but India is where my heart is”.
