Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is known as a humanitarian, spiritual leader and an ambassador of peace. He had created a long list of followers through his spiritual speeches. He is also very active on social media and hits the record time to time through his speeches on it. But, nowadays he is hitting the social media platform in a controversial way. His remark on homosexuality has landed him in a controversial situation.

While attending at JNU, a student asked him how he should react with ill-treatment by his friends and family over his sexual orientation, Sri Sri said that being homosexual is a “tendency” that “may change” later. “This is your tendency now. Just acknowledge it and accept it, and know that this tendency is not a permanent thing. It may change. I’ve seen many men who were gay, later in turn into heterosexuals, and there are those who are normal — what is called straight people — end up being gay later in life.”

Well, the comments and opinion on the topic expressed by him didn’t sound well with the Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and she took the Twitter to express her wrath and views. She outflanked her anger In a series of tweets and also explained what she understood of homosexuality.
