Sunita Ahuja has once again spoken publicly about her troubled relationship with husband Govinda, this time taking a sharp dig at the actor and his rumoured co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar. Reacting to Govinda and Komal being seen together during promotions for their upcoming film Roopa, Sunita questioned the actor’s decision to be seen with a woman she described as being her daughter’s age. She also mocked Komal’s appearance, telling her to “dress better” if Govinda was her “sugar daddy”.
The latest remarks came after Govinda and Komal were spotted together in Mumbai. The two actors have been making public appearances in connection with Roopa, leading to renewed speculation about their relationship. The rumours gained momentum because Sunita had previously spoken about an alleged affair involving her husband and a newcomer named Komal.
Reacting to the recent appearances, Sunita questioned the timing of the film’s promotional activities. She appeared to suggest that the movie itself had not been completed, making the promotional outings seem premature.
“Picture banna bhi toh chahiye. Promotion hota hai picture banne ke baad,” she said, questioning why the pair were promoting a film before its completion.
Sunita then turned her attention to Govinda. She criticised him for publicly accompanying a woman she described as being around their daughter’s age and said he should feel ashamed.
Her comments became even more pointed when she addressed Komal directly. Sunita said that if Govinda was indeed her “sugar daddy” and was wealthy, she should have better standards when it came to dressing. She compared Komal’s style with her own and added that Govinda had “lost his mind”. These remarks were made by Sunita in response to the recent public appearances and remain her personal allegations and opinions.
The latest outburst follows a series of public comments by Sunita about Govinda’s alleged infidelity. Earlier this year, she had referred to Komal while discussing rumours about her husband’s personal life and claimed that the actress was seeking a “sugar daddy”. She had also previously expressed her dislike for the name “Komal” in the context of the allegations.
Govinda, meanwhile, has previously addressed Sunita’s comments about his alleged affairs. In an interaction with ANI, he acknowledged that his wife had made similar claims in the past but also praised her for taking care of their children while he concentrated on his career. He described her criticism as being mixed with affection and questioned whether it was necessary for her to speak negatively about him publicly.
Govinda has also spoken about his relationships with his female co-stars and the nature of his interactions with them during his career. He suggested that his onscreen chemistry was rooted in affection and recalled how his late mother would joke about Sunita’s influence on his interactions with other actresses.
The latest controversy has intensified because Govinda and Komal have been repeatedly seen together. Their airport appearance earlier was also followed by a cryptic reaction from Sunita, who wrote “Vinaash kaale vipreet buddhi”, a Hindi expression suggesting that a person’s judgement deteriorates before their downfall. Her latest remarks, however, were considerably more direct.
