The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the Sunny Leone and Arbaaz Khan starrer Tera Intezaar with an A certificate. The movie has been passed without any cuts and the release has further moved to December 1 which was reserved for Padmavati originally.
Meanwhile, the team of the movie ‘Tera Intezaar’ was in Delhi for promotions and we had a quick chat with them. Sunny, who will be seen in a different avatar in this movie looked quite excited. When asked why Sunny gave a nod to this film, she said, “When I first had the story narrated to me, I really liked it. I read the story and then I thought if it is going to be shot the way I was picturing in my head then it seemed interesting to me.”
Arbaaz stepped into the actor’s shoes after a long time. In between he was producing and directing films, asked why he took such a long break, he said, “It wasn’t intentional. When I work on films as a producer, I get much more involved in almost everything and then I don’t want to leave it. Acting also takes lot of time and commitment. I have done a decent amount of time as an actor. Now when I am producing or directing, I am kind of focused because that needs all my attention. When I had a gap, I ended up doing films doing as an actor. I was lucky that I wasn’t going to people and saying take me, take me. People approached me and I liked what they offered me.”
Arbaaz enjoys everything – being an actor, producer and director. However, he wishes to focus on his film making career. He said, “As of now, I want to build my film making career. I am passionate about acting; I will never give it up. Whatever roles will come my way, I will do it.”
With a mix reaction of movies this year at the box office, one is likely to get tensed about box office collections. However, Arbaaz is pretty chill about it. He said, “To build up expectations with every movie is a futile exercise. The point is to do your film with all your efforts and sincerity and then just leave it and stop expecting what the audience is going to think about it. We have done our job with lots of efforts. If it does well, great, if it doesn’t I still I have to move on. I can’t keep sitting and cribbing that the movie didn’t do well. Being that long in the industry, I have realized that it’s a futile exercise. With time you change, you evolve and react to things differently. For me now, I don’t really worry too much.”
Arbaaz directed Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 and we were really expecting Dabangg 3 to go on floors anytime soon. However, he shared that he won’t be directing the third part because of his personal issues. Arbaaz Khan recently ended his 18 years of marriage with Malaika. He said, “Directing, producing and acting is a big responsibility. You need to be in good state of mind and not have things going on at the back of your mind. I felt it was not the right time to (direct) do it, maybe later I will do it.”
He shared that Dabangg 3 will revolve around the journey of Salman Khan’s character to become Chulbul Pandey. The film will go on floors by 2018 and will be probably directed by Prabhudeva.
