TKF, which was released on March 11th with Prabhas’ behemoth, Radhe Shyam, managed to stick out with excellent word-of-mouth. Soon after, it became more than simply a movie; it became a movement, with theatres experiencing block bookings.
In theatres, there were record crowds, resulting in unheard-of attendance figures.
The Kashmir Files has grossed a total of 248.28 crores* so far (as per the update for day 23). With this figure, TKF has now earned 228.28 crores* from a production cost of 20 crores. TKF has made a profit of 1141.4 percent if we compute in percentages. That’s completely insane! The Kashmir Files has grossed 321.97 crores* worldwide, with 29 crores gross from overseas and 292.97 crores total from India. It is presently Bollywood’s 27th highest-grossing film.
Meanwhile, Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu recently expressed his support for the film. Naidu has stressed that the film has nothing to do with politics and contains no content that is contentious. “We have seen that documentation of the picture ‘The Kashmir Files,’ and we believe the public will accept it favorably,” he stated. People are incredibly enthusiastic about something that has nothing to do with politics.”
“Unfortunately, in our nation, people have a proclivity to make things controversial and political in nature. What is the difference between factual, actual, and textual political colour? Why should there be any politics when things are presented to the public?” he added.
