There Is Something Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Never Wants To Do On Instagram – Find Out What

When it comes to social media following, Bollywood celebs always seem to be in a rat race. They often hire public relations teams who handle their accounts for them, in order to get the maximum fan following. But, that isn’t the case with Fanney Khan actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan isn’t consistent when it comes to posting pics on Instagram. Most of her pictures aren’t clicked by professionals. That’s not it. She doesn’t follow any one on twitter. Not even her husband Abhishek Bachchan or her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan. Despite all these facts, she has a fan following of 4 million people.

In an interview with Rajeev Masand, the actress made a number of revelations about this unconventional Instagram behaviour of hers. She talked about why she isn’t as frequent as other B-town celebs, why she doesn’t get pictures clicked from professional photographers before they make it to her Instagram account and why she doesn’t have a professional PR team to handle her account.

On why she chose to begin her social media journey, the actress said: “It just felt right. It was summer, its topical as Cannes was around the corner so I had material to upload. And from here on we’ll see how it rolls,” she said. But for Aishwarya, judgement and opinions are never ever too far away.

“There were opinions that trickled in – they said: What are you doing? Where’s your team? You can have the works but instead you’re putting up like a low-res pic. Your best friends are photographers. Do you people have teams and they work with professionals around them for posting pictures on Instagram. And you are you, so why are you behaving like a pleb in front of the whole world?” – the actress revealed. “And all I could tell them was that if I want to start a professional site like that, I’ll start one… this is just personal.”, Aishwarya added.

She also talked about why she rarely ever writes a caption when she posts a picture. She always uses emojis.“People would be like why don’t you write something and I’d be like if I want to or if I need to, but why… sometimes the picture says what it has to say, what other saga am I going to write around it and when I want to, I’ll write a saga. And yeah, I love using emoticons because to me they are sweet and cute,”  Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said.

The actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Fanney Khan. The movie features Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pihu Sand, Divya Dutta and Satish Kaushik among others. The film will hit theatres on August 3.
