THIS Is What Dad Rishi Kapoor Has To Say About Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Relationship

Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor’s relationship has been in the news ever since the two attended Sonam Kapoor & Anand Ahuja’s wedding together. Not just Ranbir, his mother Neetu & sister Ridhima are equally smitten by Alia Bhatt. Neetu Kapoor never misses any chance to comment on Alia’s social media posts which makes it quite evident that the two share a good bond. Recently, even Ranbir was spotted at Alia Bhatt’s residence having a good time with her dad Mahesh Bhatt, which proves that he has pretty much given a sanction to this relationship.

Even though all the family members are happy with Ranbir-Alia’s relationship, dad Rishi Kapoor hasn’t really said much about it. But in a recent interview with Mid Day, he finally talked about it. “He said, “Jo hai woh hai, sabko pata hai. I don’t need to say anything more”. Even though he didn’t say much, it looks like he has finally approved of the relationship.

In the same interview, the Agneepath actor also said that he can’t wait to see his son settle down. He feels that it’s high time Ranbir takes his plunge.  “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don’t have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone.”, Rishi said.

When the actor was asked if he talks to Ranbir about getting married, he said, “I haven’t been vocal about it, but my wife keeps bringing it up with him and he just brushes the question away. Whenever he is ready for it, we will be happy. Our happiness lies in his happiness, after all.”

On the acting front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently in Bulgaria for shooting the second schedule of Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra. Alia is shooting in Bulgaria for the same film. Accompanying the actors are Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy.

Produced under Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions, the film will hit the screens on Independence Day 2019.
