We all know that Sushmita Sen once dated Randeep Hooda. It is said that they fell in love with each other on the sets of their 2009 film ‘Karma, Confessions and Holi’. Their relationship, however, was short-lived and lasted only for three years. This relationship had a very bitter ending. In an interview, Hooda said that breaking up with Sushmita Sen was the best thing that happened to him.

He uttered: “The biggest part of my relationship with her over three years was my relationship with her daughter, Renee. I missed only one theatre rehearsal in my life as Sushmita wanted me to not go and that is the worst thing I did in terms of my value system. I was exposed to fame although I was on the sidelines as I was not a star. The break-up was the best thing that happened to me and I realised that I gave it too much time in my life.”

Later, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Randeep revealed that a lot of things went wrong in his relationship with Sushmita Sen. “Sometimes you just outgrow the relationship and then, unless you are married or seriously committed, it’s best to go your separate ways,” he said.

Just few months back, in January, Randeep Hooda and Sushmita Sen were spotted at the same event in Dubai when they attended the birthday bash of Rizwan Sajan, founder chairman of Danube Group in Dubai on December 28, 2017. According to a report in Mid-Day, the two avoided each other and made sure not to get photographed together either.

On the professional front, apart from ‘Battle of Saragarhi’, Randeep will also be seen in Ashwini Chaudhary’s upcoming film, ‘Fifty-Fifty’.  However, there hasn’t been an official confirmation regarding the same. Till then, all we can do is wait and watch.

On the other hand, Sushmita has been away from the big screen for a while now. Her last Bollywood outing was with the 2010 film No Problem.
