“Tum Mere Uttaradhikari Ho,” Says Amitabh Bachchan; Slams Netizens For Criticizing Abhishek Bachchan
Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood actor, has praised his son Abhishek Bachchan’s performance in the upcoming film Dasvi. When Big B shared the trailer link on his Twitter account and wrote a lengthy letter on his blog, he became his son’s biggest supporter. Big B read a poem written by his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and expressed his pride in his son.
Dasvi is a film starring Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur that will be released on April 7th.
“The greatest satisfaction for a Father is to witness the triumphs of his children… to savour the glory they bring to his name… to be recognized as the father of Abhishek, rather than the other way around… and Abhishek sums it up for me,” Amitabh Bachchan said on his blog.
“T 4230 – Mere bete, bete hone se tum mere uttradhikari nahi hoge,” Amitabh Bachchan commented on Twitter after sharing Abhishek’s Dasvi link. “Jo mere uttradhikari honge, wo mere bete honge (My son, by being my son, you will not become my heir.) My boys will be my heirs). –Harivansh Rai Bachchan.” “Abhishek, tum mere uttradhikari hoge, bus keh diya to keh diya (You will be my successor.)” the actor said.
Apart from that, Abhishek Bachchan wrote a lengthy letter before the trailer’s release. He added in his essay that he’s on the verge of apologizing for his work. “I’ve always been quite cautious to speak about my films, bordering on regretful about my work,” he wrote in his note. It’s been described as humility or a lack of faith in what I’ve created. That’s something I’d like to alter! “With this film, I want to be unapologetic.”
