The ever gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the muse of every Bollywood director. And it took around 2 decades for Karan Johar, one of the most reputed directors of B-town to work with her (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil). The director-actor duo recently shared the stage at BIG Zee Entertainment Awards and KJo couldn’t stop gushing over her. As Aish went on stage to receive awards for her roles in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Sarbjit, Karan who was the host of the evening had all the nice things to say about her. He even said that he wouldn’t have made the film (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) without her.
“”I wanted to work with her since 1997. I narrated the script of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hota Hai’ but due to some reason things didn’t work out back then.” Adding, “Hence, after almost a decade, when ‘Ae Dil..’ was being planned, I was pretty sure, Aishwarya would make for an indispensable fit for this role. If she would have declined this role then I would have never gone ahead with it,” Karan Johar said while talking about working with her.
The Sarbjit actress was overwhelmed by his comment and replied, “Thank you, Karan, for giving me the role of Saba. It has helped people wake up to many other possibilities that they can choose from. I am glad to have such an amazing team. I thank the entire cast and crew for their immeasurable support and hard work.”
Well, we totally loved sensuous avtar of Aish in Karan Johar directorial. And her sizzling chemistry with much younger Ranbir Kapoor was indeed out of the world!
