US Tariff War, BJP To Revamp Delhi, AI Parenting And Much More…

Edits | May, 2025

The US tariff war, who made the real money? Without writing much about what happened in the tariff wars, they are definitely linked with a group of people in the US, who knew tariff imposition will happen, and may have made large chunks of money. Also, the 10% stock prices hit must have made a few companies vulnerable for stockholding change. These are elements that no one would know about and no media will write about. Fundamentally the jungle raj still exists despite all the say that we as humans, are cultured, moderate and rational people.

Is the BJP all set to revamp Delhi? The streets of Delhi are definitely better with the BJP coming into power. This being said is not to do with the governance of Delhi, but simply because of the fact that the Governor and the Chief Minister seem to be from the same party. All said, this is good for the residents of Delhi, who have reeled under the bad governance of Aam Aadmi Party, only to be let down by the opulence that the chieftain called Kejriwal showcased, misled and got immigrants into the city, like it was nobody else’s business. In a recent video, he can be seen dancing at his daughter’s wedding, like an Aam Aadmi. Hail democracy!

How India benefits from the tariff war – vice president’s visit is a way to pacify or require a new giant. Since China stands compromised and has now become a threat to the world economy, read: the US, the visit of the Vice President is definitely to negotiate terms on how they can use India as a manufacturing base other than China. The problem with India is that it still exists as a United States of India, rather than one unified country. Unlike China, we have multiple religions, cultures and gods to whom allegiance is pledged by people from different regions within the same union. And this diversity affects  not just the culture but also the ethics of work and polity. So, if the vice president once visits India to explore India as a new hub, to be developed in the next 15 to 20 years like China, they need to rethink and read up on what India truly is.

Will the waqf law change anything? Is all the violence in Bengal a related matter. The unrelated and undulating violence on the Hindu families in Bengal under the rule of TMC explicitly indicates that the party is more inclined toward minorities than the Hindus in Bengal. No matter what the ideology, this is not acceptable and should have long-term implications for TMC and Mamata Banerjee. Most certainly, her ambition of being a national leader will take a backseat since she is confined to the issues of regional polity and securing the seats in the next election. In Bengal, it seems there is a complete breakdown in law and order, especially since not even the RG Kar case stands solved, due to rampant corruption and involvement of political functionaries in the procurement of merchandise for the hospital.

How AI may take away parenting: beware. We are a generation  at the inception of AI. To put in simple words, AI is still not truly intelligent, and presently it relies on the big data that has been collected over the decades by the internet, run by algorithms which make some sense of it, but largely provide fact-based answers. Once it evolves into actual intelligence (higher level of simulation, analysis and foresight) that is some level of consciousness),  parenting will take the biggest hit because the young ones are going to be governed and taught by these systems, which are not wholly under human control. They may be utopian systems or dystopian ones which are as predicted as in Sci-Fi movies, driven by a conclusive-objective of an AI ecosphere. Hence, parents will not remain parents anymore, and there will be no guardianship in the hands of humans. This is not far away, with the advancements in chip technology, and being at the threshold of quantum computing, which will unleash an unprecedented amount of processing power. Also, we may be on the edge of fusion energy, which will make energy really inexpensive, except for the initial capital expenditure. At that stage, parenting could be guided by AI, capable of being better and more convincing than the existing human systems of intelligence. Perhaps this is how progression works.

Scams Galore in the Gig economy- BlueSmart EV cabs service scam hits the market. Even as the equity retail markets are grappling under the US tariff war, BlueSmart EV cab service company has day-light robbed Rs 1,200 crores worth of loan into private purses for the owners’, spoils of highlife & lifestyle. In case readers have missed this news, institutional lending of Rs 1,100 crores, has been diverted by the two brothers, often in awe acclaimed as disruptive entrepreneurs- Anmol and Puneet Jaggi, for buying expensive apartments and indulging in luxury. A complete financial scam, built like a house of cards, has now collapsed, leaving several government banks (& NBFCs) high and dry, akin to the Nirav Modi scam. The recent stock market fall in price, due to the US tariff war should be one of the major causes of the Jaggi brothers going down, since most of the loan money was deployed at insider trading, and the loans were acquired by pledging of equity at inflated valuation of the company.

Lesson for retail investors: Look for companies which have some pedigree and sound business sense, rather than riding on unnatural growth and speculative gains. But then we all know this and still get consumed by exceptional profits. This is also reminiscent of the OYO scam-in-the-making, as GST notices are being served to the hotel owners for  billing targets they could never realistically achieve – yet OYO allegedly booked these earnings in their financials.
