Vaani Kapoor Opens Up On Facing Financial Crunch: ‘I Have Not Taken A Single Penny From My Parents’

This is the first film to be released on the big screen after the pandemic. These days Vaani Kapoor is also promoting the film Bell Bottom vigorously. Amidst all this, the actress has made a big disclosure about her film struggles in Bollywood. He has told that he has also had to go through a financial crisis. Vaani Kapoor spoke to the English website Times Now. During this, he talked at length about his personal life and his film career. Vaani Kapoor has said about her career that as a novice she has struggled a lot in the Bollywood film industry. Recalling the early days of her career, the actress said, “I am supporting myself. I haven’t taken a penny from my parents since the age of 18-19 and I support myself. I was doing modeling. She was earning her money. This was a very new area for me as well. I was very clueless and less confident. I didn’t know what I was doing. I didn’t know how to go about it. But have a certain vision for yourself. I had that vision and stood by my beliefs. Vaani Kapoor further said, ‘So, I did not try to sell myself short in the field of acting. This is something I was sure about from day one. The financial crisis had come and I didn’t have many privileges. Where I come from a very wealthy family. My family has also gone through ups and downs, and I am proud that I have been able to make things work for myself alone.

Apart from this, Vaani Kapoor has talked a lot about her film career. The film Bellbottom is releasing in theaters on August 19. This is the first major Bollywood film to hit the theaters after the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Bellbottom is a spy thriller film starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, and Huma Qureshi, directed by Ranjit M Tiwari.
