Since the year is near its end, the award season for the Bollywood is here. It was only recently when our favorite B-Town celebrities graced the red carpet of Filmfare Glamour and Style award dressed in their designer wears, and now it was time for them to get honoured for their performances on the bigger-picture.
Last night, Bollywood dazzled at the red carpet of the Star Screen Awards in Mumbai and raised the fashion quotient. And this time it was not just female actors who managed to grab some eyeballs with their drool-worthy looks. Male actors too played their outfit game strong and looked their best. While most of them upped their style game for the red carpet appearance, there were some who turned out to be a disappointment.
Let us start with the worst dressed one, Vidya Balan. This one doesn’t come as a surprise as it is only rare when her outfit is on point. She yet again failed miserably as she picked up a gaudy saree by Raw Mango. And on top of that her faux bob hairstyle just didn’t go well with her round face.
Vidya’s friend Neha Dhupia too disappointed us with her red carpet looks. Her black ballroom gown that had a plunging neckline and dramatic sleeves, only made her look stout. Although her hairstyle and makeup is on point, but her outfit is a big turn off.
Shamita Shetty walked on the red carpet dressed in a flashy saree by Manish Malhotra which she teamed with an embellished blouse. While her outfit looked everything good, but her lips shaped clutch and that French braid bun was definitely not a good choice to make.
Varun Dhawan looked dapper in his tuxedo.
The dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit looked elegant in her satin sari which she beautifully paired with a matching, sheer embellished blouse. Those bold lips and voluminous open tresses added to her beauty.
Kriti Sanon looked like a complete stunner in her deconstructed black number from Gaurav Gupta’s latest collection. She smartly rounded off her look with those well-kempt cascading hair and minimal makeup.
Salman Khan looked all sophisticated in his navy-blue suit. But he could have managed to be the best dressed only if he would have opted out from wearing those studded footwear.
Taapsee Pannu kept it simple yet classy in her waist high slit gown that had a plunging neckline. Poker staright hair and a pair of strappy sandals added the finishing touches.
Other actresses who sky rocketed their fashion game at the award function were Sonakshi Sinha, Bhumi Pednekar, Ileana D’cruz and Diana Penty.
