Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav recently addressed the viral controversy surrounding Bhooth Bangla promotions, clarifying claims that Wamiqa Gabbi ignored him. The Bollywood actor explained that the circulating clips were misunderstood and taken out of context, which led to unnecessary trolling of Vamika on social media. He emphasised that there was no intentional disrespect, and the situation was misrepresented online. Rajpal Yadav urged audiences not to jump to conclusions based on short videos and to reveal the complete truth behind the incident to everyone concerned.
Rajpal Yadav On Wamiqa Gabbi Ignoring Him
Rajpal defended Vamika amid criticism over claims she ignored him. During a Zoom conversation, he dismissed rumours and clarified it was simply a case of camera angles being misinterpreted by viewers and social media users. “Ye kaise hota hai ki jaisa apka angle camera hota hai, main vahan kisi doosre ko kar raha hu, wo bechari kisi doosre ko kar rahi hai, lekin wo camera angle esa laga [It happens that from one camera angle it looks like I’m doing something with someone else, and that poor girl is doing something with someone else, but the camera makes it look completely different.”

He further stated, “In a video with Akki (Akshay Kumar) paaji, there are three girls standing there and hum log jaise scene nahi banate? (and just like we set up a scene), you stand there, I’ll stand here, and the girls will stand in between. But if people find entertainment in that too, then there’s no problem. We’ve honestly laughed enough over Wamiqa, Akki paaji, and all of this.”
He explained that at times, depending on camera angles, he might look at one person while Vamika looks at someone else, which can appear different on screen. He further added, “In a video with Akki (Akshay Kumar), three girls are standing, and we don’t make scenes out of it. You stand there, I stand here, and the girls are in between. But if people find it entertaining, that’s fine. We have actually laughed a lot at Vamika, Akki, and all of this.”
Rajpal added that the Bhooth Bangla cast shares a relaxed, friendly bond without formality. However, he noted outsiders might misread interactions, emphasising that in his 25-year career, he has never genuinely felt ignored.
Rajpal Yadav and Wamiqa Gabbi Viral Video
In the viral clips, Rajpal Yadav, Akshay Kumar, Ektaa Kapoor, and Vamika Gabbi were seen promoting Bhooth Bangla. In one video, Vamika quickly moved toward Ektaa as Rajpal adjusted his hair. Many social media users assumed he expected a hug, but when she turned away, he fixed his hair to avoid an awkward moment during the interaction captured on camera.
In another viral video during a group photo, Mithila Palkar asks Vamika to stand beside Rajpal. Vamika hesitates briefly, then moves next to him, while Rajpal jokingly walks away. The moment turns humorous, with Vamika seemingly following him, and it becomes fodder for online trolls and widespread social media discussion.
