Waves ’25 – The Masquerade of Mayhem: Celebrating 20 Years of Cultural Brilliance at BITS Goa

This October, BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus is set to ignite the stage with the 20th edition of its flagship cultural extravaganza — Waves ’25. Scheduled from 31st October to 2nd November 2025, this year’s theme, “Masquerade of Mayhem”, promises three unforgettable days of art, energy, and entertainment as thousands of students and performers gather to celebrate two decades of cultural brilliance.

Over the years, Waves has evolved into one of India’s most anticipated college cultural festivals, drawing over 10,000 participants and audiences annually. Known for its electrifying atmosphere, iconic moments, and unmatched production, Waves has hosted legends across genres — and its landmark 20th edition is set to be bigger, louder, and more spectacular than ever.

As the sun sets, Waves comes alive in a blaze of lights and music. From soulful Bollywood evenings featuring Mohit Chauhan, Amit Trivedi, and Sunidhi Chauhan, to Indie showcases by Mohammed Irfan and Pineapple Express, from explosive EDM and rap sets by Raftaar and Seedhe Maut, to laughter-filled Comedy Nights with Aakash Gupta and Abhishek Upmanyu — the nights at Waves are where memories are made and the crowd truly comes alive.

The daytime brings its own energy with the festival’s Big Four — Searock (India’s leading semi-professional band competition), Natyanjali (a celebration of dance), Mr. & Ms. Waves (the ultimate talent and personality hunt), and the iconic Fashion Parade. Alongside these, events like Show Me The Funny (stand-up), Rangmanch (theatre), Sizzle (street dance battles), Moot Court (legal duels), Strangely Familiar (a fun compatibility challenge), and the much-loved Prom Night ensure that Waves offers something for everyone.

As Waves ’25 celebrates its 20th year, it stands as a symbol of legacy and passion — a festival that has not only showcased art and performance but also defined the cultural heartbeat of BITS Goa. When the masquerade begins on 31st October, the stage will be set for three days of pure mayhem, magic, and memories.
