It has been over a month since Bigg Boss 19 concluded, but controversies surrounding the reality show refuse to die down. After winner Gaurav Khanna recently revealed in a vlog that he is yet to receive the car he won on the show, actress Ashnoor Kaur has now made startling claims about how her journey inside the Bigg Boss house was portrayed. In a candid conversation with one of the media persons, Ashnoor opened up about her disappointment with the way her screen time and contributions were edited out, ultimately creating a perception that she did not actively participate in the game.

Ashnoor Kaur Opened Up On Editing
Ashnoor Kaur revealed that many of the important moments where she took a stand, argued on issues, and built bonds with fellow contestants never made it to the episodes, or even the live feed. Speaking about her experience, she said, “Whatever I did inside the house, a lot of it was cut during editing. When I came out and asked my mother, What was shown? Was this fight of mine shown? she asked, When did this happen? None of this was shown.”

According to Ashnoor, the show followed only one specific narrative involving her, while completely ignoring her other interactions and conflicts in the house. The actress expressed that she shared different relationships with multiple contestants, including Zeishan, Basheer, Amaal, and others. However, none of these dynamics were highlighted on the show.

“What happened was that only one track was followed, where I was shown with only one person. Whereas I was taking a stand on issues in the house and fighting when I felt it was necessary. I had different bonds with everyone,” she explained. Ashnoor further added that these moments were not shown anywhere, not in the daily episodes and not even on the 24-hour live feed, which left viewers unaware of her actual gameplay.

When asked if she felt the editing was unfair, Ashnoor responded with a balanced yet honest take. She acknowledged the limitations of the format but stood by her claim that the editing shaped a misleading image. “I understand that in a one-hour episode or even a 24-hour live stream, a lot happens inside the house, and it’s not possible to show everything. But I felt that a narrative was being set against me, that I wasn’t doing anything. This perception was created because what I was doing wasn’t shown. The reason is the editing”, said Ashnoor.
