Directed by Mimi filmmaker Laxman Utekar, the biographical musical drama features the Stree 2 star as Maharashtrian Tamasha and Lavani performer Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar.

The first glimpse introduced her as Tamasha Samradhi, popularly known as the Queen of Tamasha. In the teaser, Shraddha is seen giving birth backstage before stepping out to entertain the audience. Her powerful walk, expressions, and dance moves impressed the internet, and now the actress has earned another admirer for her remarkable screen presence everywhere today among fans.

What Connects Shraddha Kapoor and Aneet Padda? Find Out Here 

For those unaware, both Aneet and Shraddha belong to the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. Aneet will make her MCHU debut with the much-awaited Shakti Shalini. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film also features Nana Patekar, Vineet Kumar Singh, Vishal Jethwa and several others in important roles, and marks another exciting addition to the expanding supernatural cinematic franchise loved by audiences.

Reportedly, the film follows Shalini, whose heartbreak and a brutal death fuel her rage, leading her on a quest for revenge against men. The team completed the final shooting schedule in May this year. Shakti Shalini was filmed across Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, providing the backdrop for the intense revenge drama that unfolds amid striking settings and emotional turmoil throughout.

About Eetha movie 

Eetha traces the real-life journey of legendary folk artist Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar. Spanning the 1940s to the 1990s, the film highlights her transformation into one of Maharashtra’s most celebrated theatre performers. Its title comes from “Vitha,” the affectionate name by which Vithabai Narayangaonkar was fondly known among admirers and audiences across the state, leaving behind an enduring cultural legacy.

Born in 1935 in Pandharpur, Maharashtra, Vithabai Narayangaonkar was known as the “Tamasha Samradni” and received Presidential awards in 1957 and 1990. Despite achieving great success, she later struggled financially and died in poverty. The film also features Randeep Hooda and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles and is scheduled to hit theatres on August 28, 2026, with audiences eagerly awaiting its inspiring cinematic journey.
