‘Burnt Out From Chasing Love’: Ranveer Allahbadia Reflects On Breakup

YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, has confirmed that he is single following a tough year marked by controversy and emotional upheaval. Speaking to Tara Sutaria on his podcast, Ranveer said he no longer chases love, describing himself as a 32-year-old man focused on “building a castle” for himself. “You’re welcome to visit, but I won’t come looking,” he added.

The change in his perspective comes after a difficult period following the India’s Got Latent controversy, where a joke he made on comedian Samay Raina’s show triggered backlash, multiple FIRs, and a police inquiry. While he apologised publicly, the incident deeply impacted his mental health and work schedule. He now releases fewer podcast episodes than before.

In the new episode, Ranveer admitted he regrets how he obsessively sought romantic relationships in his 20s. “I chased love too hard. I just wanted a wife so bad. But after 30, something switches. My chart says it’ll be a delayed marriage, because I still have work to do,” he said. He added that he has buried that desire now, choosing instead to heal from the “pain of broken romance.”

He also said he holds no expectations from future partners to heal his pain. “That’s unfair. I just want the women in my life—my mom, sister, niece, and whoever comes next—to have a soft life,” he said.

Around the time of the controversy, Ranveer’s rumoured girlfriend Nikki Sharma had shared cryptic posts about emotional turmoil and detachment. The two were last seen together during a vacation in Goa, where Ranveer had posted about a near-death experience at sea.

Reflecting on that turbulent period, Ranveer said the ordeal helped him identify who his real friends were. “Some people showed their true colours, while others—many whom I’ve never even met—reached out and helped,” he said, calling the phase an unexpected opportunity for growth.
