In a recent conversation with one of the media houses, the actor spoke openly about reconnecting with his ex-wife after divorce, his exit from Yash’s upcoming film ‘Toxic’, and the reasons behind walking out of another project mid-way.

Gulshan Devaiah revealed that he separated from his wife, actress Kallirroi Tziafeta, in 2020, ending their eight-year-long marriage. However, life has come full circle for the actor. Four years after their separation, Gulshan shared that he is dating his ex-wife again, calling it a deeply personal and healing journey. Crediting couple’s therapy for helping them reconnect, Gulshan spoke about how professional guidance allowed them to address unresolved issues and rediscover their bond.

His openness about revisiting a relationship after divorce has sparked conversations online, with many appreciating his honesty and emotional maturity. During the interview, Gulshan also addressed his much-discussed decision to leave Yash’s highly anticipated film ‘Toxic’. He clarified that while the project was offered to him long ago, things eventually fell apart due to multiple issues.

“The film didn’t work out for several reasons,” Gulshan said, adding that payment delays and the mistreatment of his manager played a major role in his decision. He further revealed that after checking the expiry date of his contract, he realized the makers could not take legal action against him. Gulshan also mentioned that scheduling conflicts contributed to his exit, but emphasized that professional respect and timely payment are non-negotiable for him.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features Yash in the lead role and boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara, and Tara Sutaria. The film is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will be dubbed into multiple languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, aiming for a pan-India and global release. The film is produced by Venkat K. Narayan and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Toxic is scheduled to hit theaters on March 19, 2026. Upon release, it is expected to face stiff competition at the box office as it will clash with other major releases like Dacoit and Dhurandhar 2.
