The founders, Vinal Maheswari and Mohit Sankhla, had pitched their brand seeking ₹75 lakh for a 2.1% equity stake, valuing their company at ₹35.71 crore at the time. Interestingly, none of the sharks, including Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal, and Peyush Bansal decided to invest. Today, that same company is reportedly generating a monthly revenue of ₹20–30 crore, making it a missed opportunity that still stings.

In an interview with one of the media houses, Aman revealed a surprising reason behind his decision. He admitted that he had been drinking until 4:00 AM the previous night and arrived on set with a heavy hangover. According to him, his lack of sleep and intoxicated state affected his judgment during the pitch. “I was wondering how I could focus on the deal when I hadn’t slept at all… sometimes your mind just stops working,” he shared.

Interestingly, during the pitch itself, Peyush Bansal had predicted that the sharks might regret passing on the deal in the future, a statement Aman now agrees with. Aman also spoke openly about criticism he received for his blunt communication style on the show. He recalled an incident where he snapped at a pitcher in typical Delhi style, questioning their business model rather aggressively.

He noted that the channel aired the clip without editing, which led to viewers questioning his tone and behavior. Reflecting on the experience, Aman acknowledged that such moments are part of life. His honest admission has resonated with many fans, who appreciate his transparency and relatability, even as it highlights how one off day can lead to missing out on a multi-crore opportunity.
