Mridul Tiwari Says He Has No Link to ‘Yadav Ji Ki Love Story’ Film Amid Protests in Uttar Pradesh

The controversy surrounding the film Yadav Ji Ki Love Story continues to intensify across parts of Uttar Pradesh. With street protests, FIRs, political reactions, and heated debates on social media, the issue has now drawn in YouTuber and reality TV personality Mridul Tiwari, who has publicly clarified that he has no connection to the film. Mridul Tiwari, who also appeared on Bigg Boss 19, took to Instagram to address the growing backlash.

Mridul Tiwari Clarified His Stance

The controversy escalated as the film features his sister, Pragati Tiwari, in a key role. Due to this family connection, several social media users allegedly began targeting both Pragati and Mridul. According to Mridul, he has received abusive messages and threats despite not being involved in the project. In his detailed post, he wrote, “I have neither made this film nor can I change its name. I have stated this publicly many times. Educated and intelligent people understand this truth, but it is pointless to explain to those making uninformed accusations.”

Mridul further clarified that he respects all communities and does not intend to hurt anyone’s sentiments. He said, “It is not my intention to hurt the sentiments of any community. I respect everyone’s feelings. If people object to the film’s name, I stand with you. Change the name.” He also urged people to refrain from spreading misinformation and dragging his name into a matter he claims he has no role in.

For several days, members of the Yadav community have been protesting in regions such as Sambhal and Gunnaur in Uttar Pradesh. Protesters allege that the film’s title and storyline portray their community in a negative light and harm its social image. As tensions escalated, an FIR was reportedly filed against the film’s producer Sandeep Tomar, director Ankit Bhadana, and members of the cast. In some areas, demonstrators have warned cinema hall owners against screening the film and have even burned posters in protest.
