King 100 movie’s Plot
In an exclusive conversation with Variety, Nagarjuna shared that King 100 will be a full-fledged commercial entertainer. The film centers on an emotional father-daughter relationship, woven into a compelling rags-to-riches journey. Enhancing its distinct appeal, advanced de-aging technology will be used, enabling Nagarjuna to portray multiple age stages, ranging from 25 to 60, bringing depth and continuity to his character across different phases of life with impressive visual realism overall.
Apart from Nagarjuna and Tabu, the film also stars Sushmita Bhatt and Vijayendra in important roles. Ravindra Vijay has reportedly been cast as Nagarjuna’s close companion. Known for his work in The Family Man, he has been gaining recognition in Telugu cinema with films like Ghaati and Kothapallilo Okkapudu in 2025. The project is produced under Annapurna Studios, owned by Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Devi Sri Prasad is expected to compose the music with high expectations surrounding its production and release.
The project is being meticulously developed, with Ra Karthik reportedly dedicating significant time to refining the script so it matches Nagarjuna’s screen persona perfectly. The director, known for Nitham Oru Vaanam and Made in Korea, stated that Nagarjuna selected a Tamil filmmaker for this milestone project purely for his vision, ignoring language and industry boundaries and focusing on creative merit.
