Slated for a January 16, 2026 theatrical release, the film stars Vir Das, Mona Singh, Sharib Hashmi and Mithila Palkar. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions and directed by Vir Das, the comic caper follows an earnest but hapless spy whose bungled investigations lead to unexpected mayhem.
She drew a direct comparison between Happy Patel and Delhi Belly. Saying that the same descriptors fans once used for the 2011 hit (dark, quirky, off-beat) fit the new movie just as well. She emphasised that being part of such a fearless and unconventional story was an absolute blast.
