She has made her debut in the Haryanvi film Saangi, where she portrays the role of a grandmother. In an interview with one of the media houses, Asha Hooda revealed that her love for acting dates back to her college days. A graduate of Rohtak Women’s College (1971), she actively participated in theatre and stage performances during her youth. However, after marriage, she shifted her focus to family responsibilities and political involvement, putting her acting aspirations on hold.
