Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji brought festive cheer to Gujarat as she participated in kite flying on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, marking the beginning of her promotional tour for Mardaani 3. She expressed delight at the warm reception from fans and thanked them for their enthusiasm for the film.
“I’m so happy to be in Gujarat, to be in Ahmedabad on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. I am thrilled to see the love for Mardaani here,” Rani told the crowd, adding that the affection she’s received is “precious.”

Beyond the festivities, Rani took time to engage with the community: she visited a girls’ college to speak about women’s safety in India and interacted with female police officers, thanking them for their service.
She also shared that she had a great time flying kites, reflecting both her festive spirit and connection with fans.

The trailer of Mardaani 3 was released on 12th January 2026. The film promises Rani reprising her role as fierce cop Shivani Shivaji Roy. Rani is on a mission to trace and rescue a group of missing girls.
