At the stage, he informed the contestants who were inside the house and unaware about Dharmendra’s demise. Salman recalled emotional memories and expressed the deep bond he shared with the legendary actor. In the video that was shown at the finale, Salman was seen lovingly saying, “You have to come back again next season.” Sharing personal details, Salman revealed, “The special thing is that Dharamji passed away on November 24, which was my father Salim Khan’s birthday, and tomorrow, December 8, is his birthday and also my mother Salma Khan’s birthday.”

He added with a heavy heart, “If I am feeling this way, imagine what Sunny and his family must be going through.” His words highlighted the tremendous emotional struggle of the Deol family. Salman Khan strongly defended the Deol family’s decision to keep the funeral private. He praised the way the rituals were carried out and said, “Two funerals were conducted with great dignity, one of Sooraj Barjatya’s mother and the other of Dharamji. They held his prayer meet very gracefully and respectfully. Everyone was crying, but there was decorum… a celebration of life. Hats off to Bobby and Sunny.”
