But do you know that this movie was also offered to the late Bollywood actress Sridevi? But she rejected it, and now the reason behind this has been told by filmmaker Boney Kapoor.

Let us tell you that SS Rajamouli wanted to cast actress Sridevi in the film ‘Bahubali’. At that time, the director had claimed that Sridevi had laid down conditions for doing the film. According to him, the actress had demanded an entire floor of the hotel for herself, a fee of Rs 10 crore, and 10 flight tickets for her team. But Janhvi Kapoor’s mother had denied this.

Boney Kapoor told, ‘The film with Rajamouli did not happen, but I still have his message in which he wrote that he was a fan of Sridevi as an actress, but when I talked to her, my respect for her increased even more. Because the suggestions given by the actress were liked. But due to the confusion created by the producers, Sridevi did not work in the film.’

Boney Kapoor further said, ‘Rajamouli came to our house and talked about the film. When he left the room, the producers offered Sridevi less money than what she got for English Vinglish. She was not struggling. You were only getting benefits by casting her. Why would I make my wife do this?’ Boney Kapoor further revealed that Shobu Yarlagadda had lied to SS Rajamouli about Sridevi’s remuneration, ‘I think the producers never told Rajamouli about their offer. He had told Rajamouli that Sridevi wants the entire floor of the hotel, whereas we wanted the major shoots to be done when our children were on vacation.’
