Former Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta appeared heartbroken in a recent video she shared on social media, where she was seen crying for help. Known for sparking the ‘Me Too’ movement in Bollywood by speaking up about the ordeals she faced in the film industry, Tanushree once again shocked her fans with a disturbing revelation. In the video, she claimed that she is being harassed in her own home. Breaking down on camera, the actress alleged that her house help had been planted to steal her belongings and pleaded for assistance, describing the entire experience as terrifying.
Tanushree Dutta Gets Emotional While Revealing Harassment Ordeal at Her Own Home
Tanushree Dutta took to her Instagram handle and posted a shocking video where she was seen crying uncontrollably. In the video, Tanushree alleged that she has been facing harassment in her own home for the past few years. She claimed that the houses she helps hire are being planted by certain people and are involved in stealing her belongings. She further added: “Guys I am being harassed in my own home. Mujhe mere he ghar mein pareshaan kiya ja raha hai. I just called the cops and they have asked me to visit a police station and lodge a proper complaint. I will probably go tomorrow and do that, I am not keeping well.”
Tanushree further mentioned that she has been facing harassment for the past 4-5 years, which has taken a serious toll on her health. She explained that she handles everything on her own, leaving her home in complete disarray. Finally, she revealed that people come to her house and disturb her, though she chose not to disclose their identities. She said:
“Mujhe itna pareshaan kiya gaya hai pichle 4-5 saalo me ki meri tabyet kharab ho gayi hai. I am not able to do anything, my house is a mess. I cannot even hire maids because they planted maids in my house…I had such bad experiences with maids, coming in and stealing and doing all kinds of things. I have to do all my work. People come outside my door. I am being troubled in my own house, please someone help me.”
In another video, Tanushree alleged that she has been hearing continuous banging and loud noises outside her house. Despite repeatedly complaining to the building management, no action was taken. While sharing the clip, she wrote:
“I have also dealt with loud noises like this and other very very loud banging noises above my roof and outside my door almost every day at odd hours since 2020 ! I got tired of complaining to the building management and gave up a few years ago. Now I just live with it and put headphones with Hindu mantras to distract my mind and keep my sanity. Today I was so unwell, as you guys know I have developed Chronic fatigue syndrome due to dealing with constant stress and anxiety for the last 5 years and this was going on all day and evening way past acceptable and allowed hours! Imagine..Yesterday I posted and today this! Ab samajh jao sab log ki what I’ve been dealing with. Aur bhi bohut kuch hai jo FIR mein mention karoongi.”
