Television star Tejasswi Prakash recently made her OTT debut with the MX Player series Psycho Saiyaan. However, what was meant to be a smooth promotional event turned into a controversy after reports of tension between her and co-star Surbhi Chandna surfaced. According to media reports, interviews with Tejasswi Prakash, Surbhi Chandna, and co-star Anud Singh Dhaka had already been scheduled.

Tejasswi reportedly arrived nearly two hours late to the venue. Initially, the MX Player team informed the media that she was facing a wardrobe issue and would be arriving shortly. However, the delay stretched from minutes into hours, leaving journalists waiting. Soon after, it was announced that Tejasswi would not be attending the event. Later, her publicist reportedly informed the media that the actress was unwilling to give a joint interview with Surbhi Chandna.

Reports suggest that Tejasswi had refused to come to the venue until she received assurance that Surbhi Chandna would not be part of the joint interview. This last-minute development allegedly left the platform’s publicity team in a difficult position. In response, the MX Player team reportedly stated, “Tejasswi and her team were informed about the event two days in advance. She hadn’t raised any objections then. The matter was brought to our attention at the last minute, and it put us in a position where we couldn’t do anything.”

After further discussions, Tejasswi eventually arrived at the venue with her team and went into the makeup room. The team then informed media representatives that she would conduct separate interviews and complete all scheduled commitments. While attempts were made to resolve the situation, tensions appeared to escalate. Surbhi Chandna reportedly expressed her displeasure and initially walked out in anger.

She later returned to give an interview with Anud Singh Dhaka but eventually left the venue in tears, reportedly feeling embarrassed by the situation. The exact reason behind the alleged fallout between Tejasswi and Surbhi remains unclear. Anud Singh Dhaka, who had reportedly been present at the venue since 11:30 a.m., was also said to be visibly upset. When informed about additional interviews after a short break, Tejasswi reportedly expressed her willingness to continue without pause.
