The heartbreaking and disturbing visuals emerging from Bangladesh have triggered massive outrage across social media. The country has been witnessing unrest following the death of activist Sharif Usman Hadi and amid this turmoil, a Hindu man was reportedly lynched by a mob. According to circulating footage, the victim was beaten to death, hanged from a tree, and set on fire over alleged remarks related to Prophet Muhammad.

The graphic nature of the incident has shocked people worldwide. As the videos continue to go viral, citizens, activists, and celebrities from India have been voicing their condemnation and demanding justice. Comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui strongly condemned the violence, calling the incident barbaric and questioning the silence of global communities. Sharing his thoughts on X, he wrote that such acts “raise questions about humanity” and stressed the need for accountability and justice.

Bigg Boss 15 contestant Rajiv Adatia also appealed for peace and urged people to stand against mob violence in any form. Earlier, TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee reacted strongly to the incident. In a bold post on X, she criticized the brutality and urged authorities to take strict action. Her statement sparked debate online, with supporters praising her for speaking out and others calling her remarks harsh.

The actress later made headlines again after responding to a tweet by YouTuber Dhruv Rathee, who has been vocal about the film Dhurandhar. In her reply, Devoleena accused him of focusing on cinema controversies instead of addressing the situation in Bangladesh. She wrote, “That’s why I try to avoid and ignore your pathetic videos and tweets… Stop thinking about Dhurandhar and when will you speak for the Hindus of Bangladesh?”
