In a conversation with one of the media houses, the veteran actress opened up about everything from regrets to emotional struggles to her turbulent dynamic with one of the season’s most talked-about contestants Tanya Mittal. But when asked who she found more genuine between Tanya Mittal and Farhana Bhatt, she didn’t hesitate to say, “Farhana is more genuine”.

She added that although Farhana frequently gets into arguments, her behaviour is at least consistent and honest. On the other hand, Kunika admitted she never found Tanya completely authentic. Kunika also addressed the allegations that arose during her time in the house, particularly her controversial remarks about Malti Chahar. She clarified that she never intended to offend anyone and that her emotions sometimes got the better of her.

She revealed, “Despite strong on-screen presence I may not have played the age card, but because of my experience and age, I definitely felt bad… I even cried secretly at night.” Kunika faced backlash for a remark involving Tanya’s “sankar.” She now clarifies that the word choice was wrong, and her point was different altogether. She said, “My real concern was Tanya’s lack of independence and the special treatment she seemed to receive.”
