The Release Of “Adipurush” Get Postponed; Director Announces New Date!

“Adipurush,” starring Prabhas and co-starring Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, is one of the most anticipated films of this time. It is directed by Om Raut, who also directed “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.” The film will also be presented in 3D and IMAX. Reportedly, earlier, “Adipurush” was scheduled to release simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada on January 12, 2023. But, now the makers of this mythology-based film have changed the date of release.

The director of “Adipurush,” Om Raut, revealed that the film will now hit the theatres on June 16, 2023. The official announcement was shared on social media, which read: “Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Lord Shri Ram and commitment to our culture and history. To give the audience a complete visualisation experience, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. We are committed to making a film that India will be proud of. Adipurush will now be released on June 16, 2023. Your love, support, and blessings are what keep us going.”

When the teaser of “Adipurush” was released, many fans were disappointed with the VFX of the film. To be known, the teaser of this film was released on October 2 in Ayodhya among the fans and media. Reportedly, this magnum opus project has been made with a massive budget of Rs 500 crore. Let you know that the story of the film centres on Raghava (Prabhas), who travels to Lanka with his army with Laxman and Hanuman to rescue his wife Janaki (Kriti Sanon) from the clutches of Lankesh (Saif Ali Khan), who kidnaps her and takes her away.
