This project marks Rhea’s first return to an OTT set after seven years, making it her first acting assignment since the tragic death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. On Wednesday, Rhea shared a video on Instagram in which she appeared visibly emotional. Speaking in the video, she said that although seven years have passed since she last worked on a set, her passion for acting remains unchanged.

In her caption, Rhea wrote, “It’s been 7 years since I was on a set, but I’m still the same girl who came to Mumbai at the age of 17 with the dream of becoming an actor. A part of me moved on, but a part of me stayed there, waiting, and now I’m back here. In Chapter 2 of my life.” She also reflected on life’s unpredictability, adding, “It’s true what they say, life is what happens when we’re busy making other plans.”
