Recently, the audience has witnessed the actress gratifying a classic winter recipe from Gujarat cuisine.  It is a regional food of Gujarat that is Undhiyu. She even posted a picture of the appetizing food item on her Instagram story which comprised of one vegetable dish along with home made phulkas or rotis. “Ami Patel thankyou for the yummiest undhiyu. As long as you don’t expect me to wear any hot clothes before a week now. Parth Mangla, a repeat from you is due this week,” she mentioned as a side note. An endearing sticker depicting the gujarati wish ‘Majama’ was also noticed in the story.

Undhiyu is essentially a mixed vegetable dish meant to have originated from the city of Surat in Gujarat. The dish is made by mixing seasonal green vegetables that are available in local markets, most commonly in the season of winter. All the vegetables are then cooked together simultaneously in an earthen pot and the dish is named as ‘Undhiyu’ which means inverted.

The actress was also seen clasping a cup of tea in her hands. She was caught on her terrace wearing a stunning red shawl.
