One of the most loved and extremely talented Indian Tennis players, Sania Mirza stunned the entire nation when she announced her marriage with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik back in 2010. The much-in-love couple tied the knot on April 12, 2010, and went on to begin a journey of forever together. After eight years of a blissful marriage, Sania and Shoaib were blessed with a baby boy on October 30, 2018. They named him Izhaan Mirza Malik. Since then, the couple has been sharing glimpses of their bundle of joy. Izhaan too has gained a huge fanbase courtesy of his social media appearances.

Currently, Sania is in England for Wimbledon 2021. Sania and doubles partner Bethanie Mattek Sands have successfully reached the second round. The duo got a special guest in the crowd to cheer for them and it was none other than Sania’s little boy Izhaan. On July 1, 2021, Sania posted a picture with Bethanie and Izhaan and wrote, “Round 1…Smiles Spider man cheering us on Wimbledon.”

Talking about the same in a press meet at Wimbledon, Sania said, “Leaving him at any time is difficult. I try to do it as little as possible. But if it’s something I have to do, then that’s what I will do. As working mothers, sometimes you have to do it.”

In January 2020, Sania returned to the tennis court for the first time after giving birth to Izhaan. The little munchkin also accompanied his mother and become her good luck charm. Sania captioned the pictures as “Twinning and winning my laddoo.”

 

Last year Izhaan celebrated Eid with his amma and nanu. Sania had shared a beautiful picture with Izhaan on Instagram. In the picture, Sania could be seen sitting on the floor, holding her baby, as the mother-son duo flashed their beautiful smiles. Sania wrote in the caption, “Eid vibes @izhaan.mirzamalik” atop it. Izhaan’s nanu had also shared a cute picture with him and had captioned it as “With my ‘Eidi’ – Izhaan Mirza Malik.”
