Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has strongly criticized paparazzi culture after a recent incident outside Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital left him visibly upset. Following videos of the actor losing his temper with photographers that went viral online, Salman has now broken his silence through a series of emotional late-night social media posts. At around 3 AM, the actor shared several selfies on Instagram along with strongly worded messages aimed at photographers who allegedly followed him to the hospital and continued shouting for his attention even outside the medical premises.

Reacting to the controversy, Salman Khan stated that he has always supported members of the media and understood that photographers also work hard to earn a livelihood. However, he expressed disappointment over those who, according to him, try to take advantage of someone’s vulnerable moments for publicity and profit. In one of his posts, Salman wrote, “If I see any press taking pleasure in my pain at the hospital…”

He further added that he has consistently interacted with photographers respectfully and has always believed in supporting them professionally. However, he questioned the ethics of people attempting to profit from difficult personal situations. The actor wrote, “The very press that I have stood up for, interacted with, and looked out for—ensuring that they, too, could earn their livelihood. But if they wish to make money off my misfortune… then remain silent; do not revel in it.”

Salman also referred to his upcoming film Matrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace while questioning whether getting a photograph is more important than respecting human emotions and privacy during sensitive moments. In another message, the actor warned against exploiting his emotional vulnerability, saying that despite his age, he still knows how to defend himself when necessary.

The controversy began after videos surfaced online showing Salman Khan visibly irritated outside Hinduja Hospital. Reports suggested that photographers first noticed the actor when his vehicle stopped at a traffic signal and then followed him all the way to the hospital. As Salman was leaving the hospital premises, several photographers allegedly began shouting “Bhai! Bhai!” repeatedly to capture his attention. The actor reportedly asked them to remain quiet around the hospital area and questioned how they would feel if one of their own family members were hospitalized.
