Actor Saanvie Tallwar has levelled serious allegations against her former co-star Karan Kundrra, claiming he kissed her without her consent, slapped her and verbally abused her and her family while they were filming the television show Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. Speaking about the alleged incidents in a recent interview, Saanvie said the matter was eventually addressed after producer Ektaa Kapoor intervened and apologised on Karan’s behalf. As of now, Karan has not publicly responded to the allegations.
Recalling her experience on the set of the 2015 television drama, Saanvie alleged that Karan unexpectedly kissed her during the filming of a romantic sequence despite there being no such instruction from the director. According to the actor, she was caught off guard and instinctively slapped him immediately after the incident. She claimed the unexpected kiss left her shocked and uncomfortable, as she had not consented to any change in the scene.

Saanvie further alleged that the confrontation escalated after the slap. She claimed Karan became angry and verbally abused her, using offensive language not only against her but also against her family members. The actor said the atmosphere on set became increasingly hostile following the incident, making it difficult for her to continue working comfortably.
According to Saanvie, she initially tried to handle the matter herself before approaching people close to Karan for help. She claimed she reached out to his then-girlfriend, television host Anusha Dandekar, hoping the issue could be resolved amicably. However, she alleged that the situation remained tense until producer Ektaa Kapoor stepped in. Saanvie said Kapoor apologised to her on Karan’s behalf and assured her of support, which eventually helped defuse the conflict.

The actor also claimed that Karan had expressed personal interest in her during the shoot, but she did not reciprocate his feelings. She suggested that this allegedly contributed to the strained relationship between them on set. Despite the difficult experience, Saanvie said she chose to continue working on the show to fulfil her professional commitments.

The allegations have reignited discussions around workplace conduct and consent within the entertainment industry. Social media users have expressed a range of reactions, with many calling for a response from Karan Kundrra, while others urged restraint until both sides have presented their versions of events. The actor has not issued any public statement addressing Saanvie’s claims at the time of writing.

Karan Kundrra rose to prominence with television shows such as Kitani Mohabbat Hai and has since appeared in several reality programmes, including Bigg Boss 15 and Lock Upp. He is also known for hosting television shows and has remained a prominent figure in the Hindi entertainment industry. Saanvie Tallwar, meanwhile, has featured in several television productions including O Gujariya, Qubool Hai, Chandra Nandini and Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul.
The resurfacing of the alleged incident, which dates back more than a decade, has once again brought conversations around consent and professional boundaries in the television industry into focus. While Saanvie has now spoken publicly about what she says she experienced during the shoot, Karan Kundrra has yet to comment on the allegations. Until he responds, the claims remain unverified and represent Saanvie Tallwar’s account of the events.
