Suga Pens Emotional Letter After Completing Service, Apologises For Past Mistakes And Thanks ARMY

BTS member Suga, aka Min Yoongi, has officially completed his social service and returned with a heartfelt message for his fans. On Saturday, the rapper took to Weverse to share a handwritten note filled with gratitude, reflection, and an emotional apology—marking his first public message since beginning service in December 2023.

“Hello, ARMYs, nice to meet you. It’s me, Suga,” he began, adding that he had been eagerly waiting for this day and had spent time thinking about how best to greet fans after such a long break. “First of all, before anything, I’d like to say sincerely thank you very much to you all for waiting till now. I really missed you.”

Suga opened up about the internal journey he’s been on during his time away. He revealed that the two-year period offered him a rare moment to take a step back and evaluate himself. “All this time, I’d only been focused on moving forward, barely taking the time to look at myself, but this period gave me the opportunity and time to look back,” he wrote.

Without naming specifics, Suga also alluded to the 2024 drunk driving incident that had sparked disappointment among fans and the group alike. “I’m sorry for causing disappointment and worries with the incident last year. More than anything, I was upset by the fact that I hurt you all. I was also very sorry to the members who had to go through a heavy heart in each of their positions because of me,” he wrote, expressing deep remorse.

Suga ended the note by promising to work harder and keep fans updated. “I’ll work hard even more to repay all the love you’ve given me. I love you. I’ll keep you guys posted time to time.”

As the BTS star steps back into the public eye, fans across the world are already flooding social media with messages of support and love, welcoming Suga back with open arms.
