Reacting to the recent tragedies, Kangana emphasized the importance of financial independence and career-building before marriage. In her post, she encouraged women to prioritize self-reliance over societal expectations. The actress wrote, “Every day, such tragic news concerning married women comes to light. Many of these well-educated young women plead with their parents to rescue them from suffocating circumstances before tragedy strikes; however, in Indian society, daughters are often left to fend for themselves once they are married off.”

Kangana Ranaut further added that women should focus on building careers and becoming independent before entering marriage. She stated, “My advice is for all those women that social media, or the fashion, dating, marriage, and makeup industries, will not offer you anything: Your career is more important in your life than any man. Only consider marriage once you have become self-reliant.”

Police officials stated that no suicide note was recovered and that an investigation is currently underway.

In another incident from Greater Noida, 24-year-old Deepika Nagar allegedly died by suicide after reportedly facing dowry-related harassment, according to her family.
